Arval Guide

Arval offer a full range of products which are categorised into three areas; Vehicle leasing, Mid-Term Rental and Short-Term Rental.

Ensure your Arval movements go smoothly by following the 3 stages:

  1. Collections

  2. Deliveries

  3. Photo Guide

  1. Collections

  • Call the pick up contact to provide an ETA (minimum 1 hour before pickup)

  • Conduct a walk-around visual inspection before you start taking photos.

  • Any damage or missing items MUST be reported back to Engineius before starting movement.

  • Check for vehicle warning lights, if any they need to be corrected before leaving site.

  • Take all required photos as highlighted in step 3.

  • Follow ALL additional steps on the checklist

2. Deliveries

Deliveries to a customer

  • Call customer with ETA (minimum 1 hour before delivery). Keep customer updated of any changes.

  • Ensure the vehicle is cleaned before delivery - this is mandatory. Expense the cost of cleaning and once receipt is added you can request an additional £3.75 cleaning service fee.

  • Deliver vehicle with 1/4 tank of fuel or 50% charge (unless checklist specifies different amount)

  • Walk around the vehicle with the customer to inspect

  • If delivering to residential address bare in mind they are expecting their new vehicles. Treat this as you would treat yours.

  • Take a picture of the fuel card or charging cables if present in the vehicle

  • Take all required photos as highlighted in step 3.

  • Follow ALL additional steps on the checklist

  • Photographing Driving Licence to validate end customer identity is critical because it’s used to validate their legal agreement with our customer.

Deliveries to business site

  • Call ahead to book in delivery slot

  • Ensure you check opening and closing times online. Sites will not accept vehicles outside of these times.

  • Take a picture of the fuel card or charging cables if present in the vehicle

  • Take all required photos as highlighted in step 3.

  • Follow ALL additional steps on the checklist

3. Photo Guide

Photos should contain the entire part of the vehicle in question (e.g. entire vehicle must be shown when taking a photo of the near side of the vehicle).

  • All photos of wheel alloys should be taken square on from wheel level, not from an angle.

  • Vehicles are expected to be in pristine conditions and as such all damages and blemishes must be captured and reported.

  • All loose items are of high value and therefore critical to record and take photo (Electric Vehicles). If we do not pick-up on missing loose items, we leave ourselves open to any redress costs. Click here to find where they will be in the vehicle: Location of All Loose Items

  • We use 2 sets of photos (at collection and delivery) to defend against claims of damage. Without 2 good sets of photos, we effectively open ourselves to repair costs that we are not culpable for.

** Some of these movements will require you to ask the supplier to download the Volvo app. You can find details on the App here: https://www.volvocars.com/uk/v/volvo-cars-app
