Our Sustainable Initiatives
As business we don’t use chaser vehicles, or operate a company car policy.
Our extensive research with a major utility company highlighted that for every 10 miles of movement- journey required, 24 miles were actually driven when using chaser vehicles. Our technology and our drivers will combine jobs where possible and use public transport to fill in the gaps, removing the need for this outdated practice.
EVs are driven and not transported by Engineius. Placing an electric vehicle on a diesel truck is counter-productive, and as we all try to achieve net zero minimising emissions is an essential element of reducing environmental impact.
Being green isn’t a trend.
Environmental responsibility is taken seriously at Engineius. Each year the business pays to offset its carbon emissions and operates movements in the most environmentally friendly was possible.
The story so far…
2024
In 2024 we continued to support the development of renewable energies in Asia, with Climate Partner.
This renewable energy portfolio supports projects in several countries in Asia. It supports projects certified by the Gold Standard or the Verified Carbon Standard including:
Wind energy projects
Solar energy projects
Hydropower projects
Biogas and biomass projects
2023
In 2023, with our climate-neutral expert, Climate Partner, we supported the expansion of renewable energy generation in Asia
Interest and demand for renewable energies are growing on the Asian continent as well. Climate projects generate necessary resources to drive the expansion of sustainable technologies.
2022
In 2022, we supported a afforestation project in Nicaragua with Climate Partner.
Bamboo is one of the most efficient biological tools for fighting climate change. The project contributes to mitigation by preventing deforestation and capturing CO2 as well as to adaptation by reducing temperatures, creating micro-climates, supporting a low-carbon economy and creating livelihoods for vulnerable communities
