Employee of the Month: Katie Sheppard

Congratulations to Katie Sheppard, our Learning & Development Advisor, for being awarded Employee of the Month.

This is a special milestone for us as Katie becomes our first ever double Employee of the Month winner, truly setting the bar high. Since joining Engineius back in 2020, we have witnessed Katie's remarkable growth and the positive impact she has made on our team. Thank you, Katie, for your dedication and hard work! 🙌

What do you do for Engineius?

I’m a Learning and Development Advisor, my role entails onboarding and training new staff whilst continuously seeking out new ways to improve personal development within the business.

What motivates you to do well in your role?

Watching other people achieve in their roles. It’s nice to see people come in with minimal to no knowledge and then watching them develop and fly.

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

I have to be honest, I'm a bit of an apple music snob 😉. I have a wide range of taste in music so anything from 80's to Drum and bass with a dash of indie rock.

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

It has to be the people!

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Gaming 🎮 I’m currently hooked on Call of Duty, but I do love an open world adventure from time to time.

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role?

You never stop learning, and to take any set back you have as an opportunity to develop.

What’s the most useless talent you have?

I can solve a Rubiks cube in 1 minute 30 seconds.
