As the driver, you will have the option to uniquely name each job alert, letting you enable or disable alerts.

4. Communication

You will have the ability to set how you receive alerts within the administration screen to any of the following:

  1. SMS

  2. Email

  3. And soon to be WhatsApp too!

5. Criteria

  1. The current capability model will still define what jobs you can undertake.

  2. The current driver tagging is a requirement.

  3. The postcode areas set will be ignored for job alerts.

  4. Job alerts will only trigger after the job combination runs to see if any potential matches can be alerted and also when jobs come out of held status (30 mins).

  5. We will have a business hour setting by day, this way we will only send alerts during these hours. This will stop us sending alerts if a job was to come out of hold say at 3am. For any alerts that are held back because of these setting these will be triggered at the next day trigger which can be set.

6. SMS & URL links

When a job meets the set criteria which you have specified, an SMS with a direct URL link to accept or reject the job will be sent to you. The sender of these alert will be displayed as ‘Engineius Job Alert’. The alert name which has been set – up will be displayed on the SMS. URL: https://portal.engineius.co.uk/jobalert?j=J-F24F-6943

Below is a mock – up of the alert screen. The aim is to provide you full information on the job so you can make a quick decision. A fluid design which is optimised for mobiles is required. The job alert name is displayed at the top with the ability for the supplier to ‘Accept’, ‘Watch’ or ‘Reject’ the job.

When you ‘Reject’ the job, you are presented with options on why you shouldn’t reject the alerted job.

Rejection Reasons:

  1. Unavailable to work

  2. Taken another job

  3. Public transport cost too high

  4. Alert not relevant

If you click on the URL and the job has been taken or cancelled. You will be presented with the ‘ghosted’ job. A message will be displayed why the job is no longer available and link to search for further work within the job inboxes.

7. Visibility

The current inbox tab ‘Directed Jobs’ will be replaced by ‘Jobs Alert’. This will include jobs that met your job alert criteria and directed jobs from the job deployment screen. This new tab will also be the default and first tab on the portal.
