Phase 1: Application and Initial Screening

Thorough Application Review

Every applicant undergoes a detailed review to confirm their qualifications and experience. Required documentation includes:

  • An up-to-date CV with relevant experience

  • A valid Driving Licence (front and back)


  • A recent Driving Licence Summary


  • DBS certificate issued within the last 12 months

Driving Record & Background Checks

  • We verify each license to check for points or disqualifications.

  • Using VISN, our automated license verification service, we receive real-time updates on any changes to a driver’s status.

  • A valid DBS certificate ensures there is no criminal history that could pose a risk.

Phase 2: Interview, Training, and Assessment

Phone Interview

Every applicant completes an interview where we assess their experience, knowledge, and suitability for the role.

Training & Competency Evaluation

Pre-Induction Training
Drivers complete our "Becoming an Engineius Driver" online training courses.

Induction
A structured session covering the Engineius standards, our mobile app, and the driver portal.

Live Test Job
A real-world assessment to ensure drivers can accurately document vehicle conditions and complete checklist steps.

Ongoing Performance Monitoring

We don’t stop at onboarding though - our commitment to quality means we continuously monitor and support our drivers to uphold high standards.
