Sheerness Site Change

Hi all,

Please be informed that effective immediately, the opening hours of GEFCO, now CEVA Sheerness have been changed to 0700-1700, Monday through Friday, for both collections and deliveries.

We have received news from our contacts at CEVA Sheerness that anyone attending the site will be required to use the Brielle Way entrance, ME12 1YW, starting immediately.

Please see the map below from the train station. CEVA Sheerness will have staff on hand at the entrance to provide support as required. The main gate dock security will redirect you to this entrance and provide you with a map.

Once you arrive at the Brielle way entrance, drive to the security gate and inform them you are dropping/collecting.

  1. You then have to wait to be escorted (driven if on foot) to the usual drop off area, take you pictures, etc.

  2. Go to the security office to let them know which car you are dropping off or collecting as normal. If you're collecting, it’s the same, except once you're done, take the paperwork to the security office but you have to wait for an escort back to Brielle Way.

The Brielle way gates close earlier than the main gates. but there are numbers to ring once you arrive, as security are there until 9pm and will open them for you. I’m told but if it is a late collection you must contact the Operations team to request by email that your car is pulled to the Brielle Way car park in advance.

The walk along the park is slightly shorter, however, there is no footpath along the road (blue dashed line), you must follow the concrete flood barrier near the fence. In the image approximately where "MON" appears in "Monarch Chemicals" word typed. There are steps down to the road, one needs to take them and follow straight from there and it will eventually go over the entry bridge behind the entry area with no way in.

Also, after arriving at the gate, they call for an escort vehicle to drive you to the office, plus the escort vehicle shows you the way out when you’re ready to leave. You are unable to leave on your own.
