Driver Of The Month: July

To win our prestigious Driver of the Month title, it sometimes takes great stats throughout the month, or we choose based on amazing work ethic. Our Driver of the Month for July safely secured both these requirements with Engineius.

We have promised our winner we would not publicly reveal their identity. However, this will not prevent our praise to this driver. Both our Network Manager and Regional Network Manager unanimously picked this driver through sheer determination through troubling times. So, from everyone at Engineius, we say thank you!

Of course, we managed to speak to our winner and figure out why they are doing a great job with us so far.

What do you love most about the job?

The autonomy and opportunity to see different cities, towns, and villages.

How do you ensure you deliver vehicles on time?

I plan ahead and communicate with the customers at collection and delivery points and use Uber where it makes sense.

What has been your best experience with Engineius so far?

I’d have say my best experience with Engineius so far has been taking full ownership of a few Hertz jobs. The rapport is so good that they release vehicles to me out-of-hours!

What do you think are the secrets behind getting to where you’ve got to?

Plan the day before and make generous allowance for changes in road and traffic conditions… Obey the Sat Nav!

What drives you to succeed in this job?

Do you reconcile your jobs and expenses on a regular basis?

Yes - weekly.

What are you most excited for this year?

My daughter achieving top marks in all her eleven GCSE subjects from Drama and German, to Chemistry and Physics.

What makes Engineius a special place to work?

The autonomy and flexibility to choose and manage your own workload.

What is the best advice you can give other drivers?

Always factor in the cost of travelling to and from the job and the hours in your costing. If you're driving round feeling shortchanged, it will transmit to the customers.

By winning Driver of the Month, you not only have the opportunity to feature on the company website, but you will also win £20 in One4all vouchers. Keep up the great work and who knows, you may be our March Driver of the Month!
