Employee of the Month: Yasmina Begum

Congratulations to Yasmina Begum, our Marketing assistant who won Engineius’ Employee of the Month! 👏

Yasmina joined Engineius in November 2021 to assist with the function of the Marketing Department. Her role quite literally covers all areas of Marketing, and she is always the first one to step forward and help a department when they need it.

In the Marketing Team and the business in general, Yasmina is known to be the Brand Champion. She understands who Engineius are as a company, what we represent and how we should present ourselves 🚀

What do you do for Engineius?

I am the Marketing Assistant, and my role involves working on a variety of projects with multiple departments to organising awareness days with the people team and sending all communications out to our driver network. So, if you are one of our drivers reading this, it was probably me who sent you an email 😊

What motivates you to do well in your role?

I think a big one would be an understanding (and funny) manager that always pushes me to do my best.

I also love working for Engineius and the people that work here too. It makes me enjoy being here each and every day, which motivates me to help see the company grow and further succeed!

What playlist do you listen to in the car the most?

I mainly listen to R&B and rap music but put Bryson Tiller or Odeal on the aux and I’ll be happy 😉

What do you like most about working for Engineius?

I love working with ambitious colleagues who only want to support each other to not only try but be their best.

But also, every day here is not the same and I find that fun and exciting! Working at Engineius is a whirl that can be chaos, but it’s always the best kind 😆

What’s your favourite way to unwind after a busy day?

Gaming! I look forward to it everyday, currently playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II.

What’s the most interesting thing you’ve read or seen this week?

The most interesting thing I have read this week (and still reading) is a book written by my very good friend called ‘Conquer Discipline’. 

I think everyone needs a little discipline in some way, and this book does just that to help you get there!

Describe one thing you've learnt in your role?

I’d say I’ve learnt how to multi-task whilst prioritising, it’s a valuable skill that has helped me to reduce feeling overwhelmed.
