On the Road: Chloe Gallagher

Chloe originally started at Engineius as one of our Movement Experts but found her passion in helping people, which led her to move to our People team and is now our brilliant HR Assistant!

Tell us more about what you do at Engineius?
I'm an HR assistant. There is just me and Wan See (HR Director) in the People team, so we have plenty to work on.
It is our job to make Engineius a great place to work and ensure that everyone is happy and productive ☺️
How did you find the trip overall?
I found the trip really insightful! Before moving to the People team, I worked in our Service Delivery department, so it was really interesting to go out, be a driver for the day and understand what our suppliers get up to on a daily basis.
It was interesting to see how good you have to be at managing your time and working around public transport.
What did you enjoy most/what was the best part about your trip?
For me, I really enjoyed meeting and chatting with customers and just seeing what it is like on the road!
It has really helped now that I have been both on the road and in the office 👍
Is there a location in the UK that you would like to travel through on your next job?
Good question! I can't think of anywhere in particular but would love to experience driving along a nice scenic route and soak up the views.
I also love visiting new cities but not sure I would like to drive through one…

Overall, I had a great trip and think anyone considering becoming a driver should go for it!
What is your dream car?
Some people would probably think that I'm pretty boring when it comes to cars… but I love my current car - a little Kia Picanto.
I think I would love a Ford Fiesta for my next car, so nothing flashy.
An interesting fact about yourself?
I have a black belt in karate - Wado Ryu! 🥋
What did you do before Engineius?
I was a Psychology student at the University of Southampton!
I graduated in 2020 and joined Engineius as a Movement Expert. In November of last year, I moved into my HR assistant role.
