Early Pickups

Can I remind everyone that pick-up and drop-off windows must be respected.

 You cannot bi-laterally contact end customers to rearrange timings to suit your schedule. 

Very rarely is the end customer the same as the customer who has paid for the job.

This has always been our policy and the purpose of this note is to reinforce our stance and warn of likely consequences.

Rearranging timings on a job without our knowledge has the following impact/consequences: 

  • Complaints from our customers because contractual terms has been impacted, sometimes with implications that results in financial penalties.

  • Suppliers getting sanctioned and potentially not being paid for the job carried out.

  • Ops wasting time dealing with various incidents as a result of the fall-out, which then reduces their ability to deal with genuine operational issues.
