Task Payments: MoDel and Demonstration

Hi all,

We've taken note and action on your feedback, comments, and suggestions and we're pleased to announce that we're introducing two new expenses payment types: MoDel Service Fee and Demonstration Service fee.

Below we explain how and in which circumstances these expenses can be claimed.


MoDel Service Fee - £5

You will be entitled to claim £5 for completing MoDel checklist requirements. This payment should be added as an expense on the movement, and you will need to provide evidence in the form of a screenshot showing the completed movement on the MoDel app. Please note that you are still required to complete the Engineius checklist.

As mentioned in a previous email, failure to meet MoDel requirements to the appropriate standards will compel us to flag your movements to our audit team. Appropriate action might include withholding payment for the movement or removal from key customer accounts to prevent Service Delivery failures.

Don’t forget to download your jobs as you will require internet connection, and also to refresh the MoDel app to view the completed movement screen. 


Demonstration Service Fee - £3.75

We have worked with our customers, and understand that there is a premium service and knowledge transfer aspect to new vehicle customer handovers. These deliveries must include a demonstration of the vehicles features to the customer. You will therefore be able to claim a £3.75 demonstration service fee, when a checklist includes the term full customer demonstration.

This task will require a good understanding of the vehicle's features and specifications, as you will guide the customer through their new purchase. A demonstration must be offered and may include explaining how to download the app on their phone, connecting it to the vehicle, highlighting key features of the vehicle, and in the case of electric vehicles (EVs), explaining how to connect and charge, among other tasks.


Furthermore, end-customers will receive a post-delivery survey from our customer to assess the quality of the handover and demonstration provided and it was offered as part of the service.
