Ops update and Easter weekend operational hours
Thank you very much for all your hard work recently, it has been very much appreciated.
With your support, last month saw us smashing the previous monthly volume record by nearly 20%!!
This growth in volume has directly created the recent challenges experienced by all, when attempting to reach Ops. However, these difficulties are now easing as we have restructured the Ops team so as to better deal with issues and will continue to trend better as the 40% increase in headcount start to filter through over the next few weeks.
You will also notice many other developments over the course of this year, as we continue to invest heavily in our infrastructure. These developments will include a series of App improvements, longer weekend shifts as we migrate towards a 7-day-week operationally, better training for staff and suppliers, along with volume growth that will provide better link up opportunities.
With Easter fast approaching, I would like to confirm Ops operational hours over the holiday weekend are as follows:
Good Friday, 15th April: 9am to 3pm
Saturday, 16th April: 8.30am to 3.30pm
Sunday, 17th April: Closed
Easter Monday, 18th April: 9am to 3pm
(For emergencies outside of these hours, Duty Manager will be available as normal)
Lastly, please be sure to confirm with 3rd party venues on their operational hours before setting off. With so many different customers and sites, we are unable to provide a generic guidance over availability that applies to every site.
My sincerest apologies over our recent poor service levels on the phones. Rest assured that we will continue to strive and invest in our quest to provide a better service!
This is my fourth year with Engineius and I am genuinely more excited now than at any other time, with regards to the road ahead for both the company and suppliers.
There will be plenty of updates throughout this year, as we deliver upon various developments planned.
