Tesla Charging, It’s Complicated!

Please avoid plugging a Tesla into a Tesla Supercharger.

Charging a Tesla is designed to be easy and convenient at a Tesla Supercharger, but with the constant changes by Tesla over costs of charging, it is very difficult to keep up. In addition, use of Tesla Superchargers is paid for by Tesla owners via their account with the company directly.

This means that when we move a Tesla, it may very well still be registered (for charging) to the old, registered keeper. When we then use a Tesla Supercharger, it is the old keeper who pays for the charging costs. As you can appreciate, this then creates all manner of accounting issues and upset customers.

To this end, can we request that you do not charge a Tesla at a Tesla Supercharger please. It may appear to be free, but it's very likely not the case.
