Business Analyst

At its heart, Engineius is about ensuring both customers and drivers are really happy with their experience of Engineius. We’re looking to hire an Business Analyst to ensure that we have the systems in place to keep supply and demand in our network balanced. 

Where should drivers be paid more than the current rates? Where are the opportunities to save customers money? How do maximise the “backload” opportunities for drivers (think return trips - A to B, then B back to A or as close as possible)? Which postcodes need to be charged at a premium for our drivers visit? These are the sorts of questions we need your help answering. 

We’re very open to totally different profiles for this position. You might be an economics graduate who also wants to get their hands dirty (eg you will sometimes be focused on solving individual order problems), or you might already work in transport / network planning, consulting or other data-driven roles, but want a faster pace at a company that wants to revolutionise an industry. 

This role will be fast-paced and needs a self-starter who can manage their own workload and shifting priorities day to day. Your contribution to the overall P&L will be very clear, so you must thrive under pressure of being directly accountable for results. Your recommendations will be signed off directly by the Commercial Director and Operations Director.

Customer Service Specialist

You will be part of a small, growing and highly motivated team with daily responsibility for all areas of our operation, focused on keeping our customers happy by delivering the service levels that we promise them.

You will do this mainly by ensuring that hundreds of vehicle movements per day are fulfilled on time and in full. You will be deploying jobs to drivers using our technology and your route-planning skills to help your decision-making. You will be spotting any problems ahead of time and proactively keeping our customers happy. Alongside that, you will be constantly developing relationships with our customers by being their first port of call and helping them, building a network of contacts as you progress.

Engineius is growing extremely quickly, and we are looking for people who want to be a part of that journey. Your role will change week-by-week, let alone month-by-month, and you will have the chance to shape what ‘good’ looks like. If that excites you, and if you do a good job, there will be opportunities to progress in a young, ambitious and expanding business. It won’t be easy, but it will never be dull!

Marketing Assistant

We are looking to fill a new Marketing Assistant role with immediate effect. The London-based Commercial team includes our Commercial Director, Marketing Lead Business Development Manager and Customer Success Manager.

You will ideally be a graduate who wants a quick start to their career in the commercial side of the business world. You will work alongside our Marketing Lead to help develop our marketing, branding and communications strategies, providing innovative ideas to help achieve our business targets.

This role will be fast-paced and needs a self-starter who can manage their own workload and shifting priorities day to day. You will be an early employee joining a rapidly scaling business that has the potential to be a true market leader. You will be well-positioned to move into a senior role ahead of your tenure based on the impact you directly make on the business.

Shift Manager

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced and goals-orientated Shift Manager for our Customer Service Team in Birmingham.

You will be part of the management team responsible for overseeing our internal operations to ensure we deliver a market leading service to our customers and suppliers. Guided by the Customer Service Manager, you will lead, manage and motivate a team of office-based Vehicle Movement Specialists to meet the company’s goals and objectives.

You will be responsible on a day-to-day basis for the quality of the Customer Service Team’s performance when you are on shift. You will help solve any issues, complaints and enquiries while keeping customer satisfaction at the core of every decision. You will need to ensure that all jobs are deployed in a timely manner to our network of in-house trained drivers and agents, while maintaining costs within the agreed system pricing structure. You will be required to react real-time to the day’s demands and juggle your team’s priorities accordingly. In addition, you will have the chance to embark on initiatives to improve working processes and procedures.

You will ensure that the Customer Service team meets the company’s objectives, both short and medium-term, by maximising productivity and quality of output within the team, and by motivating your staff to achieve their goals.

Vehicle Movement Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Vehicle Movement Specialist to join our Customer Service team in Birmingham.

They will be part of a small, growing and highly motivated team with daily responsibility for all areas of our operation, focusing on making the best use of our national network of drivers and transporter agents.

Although they’ll spend a lot of time on the phone, this is not a ‘call centre’ type role: it is more varied, and also more demanding. Our new Vehicle Movement Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that hundreds of vehicle movements per day are fulfilled on time and in full. They will be deploying jobs to drivers using our technology and their route-planning skills to help their decision-making. They will be spotting any problems ahead of time and proactively keeping our customers happy. Alongside that, they will be constantly developing relationships with both our drivers and our customers by being their first port of call and helping them.
