Engineius continues to build its digital journey for customers
At Engineius, we are continuing to transform vehicle collection and delivery into a digital experience from start to finish for our clients with our new automated text alerts system. These text alerts involve notifying the customer that their vehicle is en-route, providing a tracking link and ETA for the arrival of their vehicle at the delivery location.

It is with great pleasure to announce our Driver of the Month for May, Paul Langton! Paul has been an excellent driver for us, providing reliability and consistency in each and every single movement which has enabled him to excel in his craft and passion for driving. Carbon offsetting is an area that is high on our list for the future. elmo, the EV subscription service, already offsets all the carbon associated with the manufacture of its fleet and is part of TechNation’s NetZero programme. We recently spoke with Olly Jones of elmo about all things elmo, and the environment.
Collective Benefits continues to support Engineius drivers
Engineius understands the importance of protecting its network of over 500 self-employed drivers. As a result, we partnered with insurance platform Collective Benefits early last year to create Engineius Plus, a driver rewards programme, to improve their everyday lives.

Vehicle Movement Can Be Greener
Although in excess of 20 million vehicle movements occur in the UK each year, the vehicle movement sector is still considered to be the late adopters of the most efficient and greenest practise.
Before launching in April 2018, Engineius conducted extensive research into the vehicle movement sector. It was common practice for chaser vehicles to be deployed when delivering a vehicle or a minibus-style drop off and pick up for drivers to deliver the vehicles.

Engineius appoints new National Sales Manager
Engineius has announced the appointment of Bash Mohammed as National Sales Manager. Mohammed has vast automotive industry experience and joins the company following 20 years at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, where his previous role as National Business Development Manager saw him looking after some of the company’s most important B2B relationships across corporate fleet, insurance and retail.

Engineius & AA Driving School: A Fleet Model that Passes the Test
AA Driving School has selected Engineius as its new vehicle movement provider to enable a better customer experience and more efficient operation. Shortly after the first lockdown began in March 2020, Nick Falconer - AA Driving School’s Fleet Manager was tasked with leading the business’ expansion plan to deliver a digitally focused customer experience for his fleet of instructor vehicles.
Used Car Online Retailing Set to Soar in 2021
Will Amazon begin retailing vehicles in 2021? Probably not, but buyers want the same experience. The new Mitsubishi Outlander recently became the first new vehicle to be revealed on Amazon. It was reported back in 2017 that Amazon was going to start selling vehicles in Europe, with Renault and PSA both confirming they had held talks with the eCommerce giant.

We’re back, and this time we introduce our Driver of the Month for January: Chris Cowley!
In a hectic month for the company, where movements are at all-time highs, Chris has stood out as the most influential driver across the network. While continuing to be very helpful amongst the Ops Team, Chris has delivered an excellent service across the board and is showing no signs of slowing down, matching Engineius’ ethos of always aiming higher.

In November of last year, we set about asking our customers and suppliers, and our own staff, how they felt about working with Engineius as a precursor to quarterly customer forums. Driver Of The Month: December
Our Driver of the Month for December is none other than the brilliant Martin Parsons, who has continued to be an excellent driver and team player throughout his time with Engineius. Our Ops Team agrees that Martin brings a level of enthusiasm and will to do well that is, on occasions, unmatched.

Covid Update: January 2021 Lockdown
On 4 January 2021, both the UK and Scottish Governments announced the immediate implementation of lockdown measures on a national basis. This means that all four nations of the UK are back under lockdown conditions, following similar recent announcements by the governments of Wales and Northern Ireland.
Covid Update: Introduction of Tier 4 in England
Engineius continues to operate its full vehicle movement service across all regions of England, Scotland and Wales, including Tier 4 regions of England, following the Government’s revised guidance announced on Saturday. Please contact us for more information about the situation in Northern Ireland.
The Impact of Brexit on UK Vehicle Movement
We would like to reassure all of our partners that we anticipate no significant direct impact of Brexit on our capacity to operate our full range of domestic vehicle movements across the UK.
With the UK’s transition period with the EU due to expire on 31st December, many parts of the automotive industry will be rightly concerned about the direct impact the transition will have on their ability to do business. The fact that “large gaps” remain in negotiating positions with only three weeks to go also makes the prospect of a no-deal transition very real.
